You will also learn skills to operate a cash register and computer, perform reception duties such as answering telephone calls, making appointments as well as writing up client record cards.

When you successfully complete the Certificate III in Hairdressing you will have the practical skills and knowledge to work in a salon as a qualified hairdresser. You will also learn skills to operate a cash register and computer, perform reception duties such as answering telephone calls, making appointments, and write up client record cards.

You will receive hands-on experience at either our Karratha or Broome based salon where you will get the opportunity to work on real clients using advance equipment and tools.

During this course, you will learn how to colour, cut, style, and provide hair treatments, in conjunction with offering customer service in client consultations, selling products and services, and making financial transactions.

Upon completion, students will possess a range of well-developed skills using discretion and judgement while being responsible for their own workload.
