This qualification is part of the Lower Fees, Local Skills program where you'll pay only half of the standard course fees.

Acquire the skills and knowledge to provide care and support to meet the developmental and educational needs of babies, infants and young children. You will develop the skills to plan, engage and implement educational programs for children in various child care settings.

This course is delivered over a period of 28 weeks (this course includes no holidays), including work-based training for 4 weeks (152 hours) which is organised by Stanley College. 

Stanley College offers you a range of support services such as English Language and Study Assistance programs, the Employment Liaison Team, the Student Support Team for your well-being and Trainer Support for your academic progress.

During work-based training, you will be able to practice your skills and knowledge in real workplace settings. This will assist you to be Job-Ready at graduation. Stanley College has entered into work-based training agreements with a number of employers.

Course description

<p><strong>Early Childhood Education and Care </strong>is an expanding sector for those with a passion for the <strong>care and education of young children up to the age of 5 years</strong>. The sector is demanding higher qualifications and training from educators to ensure consistently high standards of education and care for children placed in these services. This can be achieved by completing the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.</p>
