This qualification covers the competencies required for educators who work with school age children in outside school hours’ care and vacation programs. You will gain the knowledge and skills to provide experiences to support children’s play and learning, identify and respond to children and young people at risk and to participate in work health and safety. This course is delivered both classroom (PIT) and traineeship. PIT is based at our AIWT campus, traineeship is delivered on-the-job. Our trainers visit regularly in the workplace to conduct training and assessment.

Course description
