Vocational Training Services (VTS) is a WA owned and operated training provider servicing Metro and Regional WA with training-staff based in Perth the Kimberley, Pilbara, Midwest and Great Southern.

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who are new to the industry or in an entry-level role and work under the supervision of others. The course provides students the basic skills necessary for work and provides the foundation skills for students to progress into a trade certificate in cookery.

Individuals completing this course will receive credits towards a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.

VTS offers the Certificate II in Kitchen as a traineeship and through Priority Industry Training (PIT) the mode of delivery is dependent on the individuals’ workplace, it may be delivered fully on the job or through blended delivery - in the workplace and a commercial training kitchen, VTS will travel to regional locations to deliver training and assessment. Elective units are selected based on the trainee’s job role.

This qualification is suitable to be delivered as a School-based traineeship.
