WA Academy has Government Funded courses available to eligible jobseekers in SHB30315 Certificate III in Nail Technology. These Government Funded courses are available through our Job Seeker Program for those who are either unemployed or underemployed.  In order to qualify for this program you must possess a current Health Care Card.

This qualification has been designed for those individuals who wish to be employed as a nail technician to provide manicure and pedi-care services, including the application and use of nail art, electric drill, acrylic and gel nail enhancements. These individuals possess a range of well-developed technical customer and service skills where discretion and judgement is required and are responsible for their own work outputs. This includes client consultations on nail care products and services. Nail technicians may also be self-employed and responsible for managing their own nail station. Work is typically conducted in a nail or beauty salon.

The Certificate III in Nail Technology may also be utilised as a stepping stone to higher qualifications in beauty therapy or related industries.
