<p>Certificate IV in Conservation and Land Management will provide you with the practical skills and knowledge to<strong> lead and coordinate conservation and land management activities</strong>. You will learn about the various areas of the industry such as land management, natural resource management, mine site rehabilitation, forestry and national parks.</p>
<p>This qualification allows individuals to <strong>develop post-trade skills</strong> and a broad knowledge of the industry prior to undertaking higher level roles in the conservation and land management.</p>
<p>You may be able to attain a <strong>dual qualification</strong> incorporating this qualification and <strong>with the Certificate IV in Horticulture</strong>, talk to staff when you enrol. </p>

<p>South Metropolitan TAFE's Murdoch Campus has extensive horticulture facilities, including large work sheds and sheltered nursery areas. The large grounds area surrounding Murdoch Campus also provides ample practice areas for students.</p>

<p>This course is going to transition to a new training package in 2021. This means that students starting in 2021 will transfer during their study to new units developed to meet current and future industry needs.</p>
<p>Students will need to ensure they have successfully completed all units and be issued the qualification before 22 December 2021 or transition to the new qualification when available.</p>
