When you complete the Traineeship for a Diploma of Aeroskills – Avionics, you will gain the skills, knowledge and qualifications to become a CASR Part 66 B2 Category Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
Theory training is conducted at Aviation Australia’s Jandakot Airport facility, with practical competency being developed and assessed in the workplace. Training is delivered in a modular format with CASR Part 66 Multi-Choice-Question examinations and essays as summative assessments. Examinations passed as per CASA regulatory requirements (75% or above) will result in Aviation Australia students graduating as qualified aircraft maintenance engineers, eligible to apply for a CASR Part 66 B2 category licence.
