The Certificate II in Introduction to Aged Care reflects the role of support workers who follow an individualised care plan to provide person centred care to clients in a residential facility.

Care worker’s duties include:

  • Carrying out activities to maintain an individual's well-being through personal care and/or general activities of daily living
  • Carry out tasks related to an individualised client care plan
  • Reporting directly to a supervisor

The course is delivered at our dedicated training facility in Rivervale with a mandatory work placement of 100 hours facilitated at an Amana Living Residential Care location in the metro area.

Mode of delivery: Face to face and blended learning options available

Amana Living Training Institute has Government funded places for this qualification available under the Priority Industry Training funding and Traineeship funding models.
